recently got a used sig p220 .45 any way to find out how old it is and what used price would be?

you can write SIgArms and they will tell you when that serial number was made.....I paid 625.00 for my Sig220 in 1992.

Beginning 2001, add approx. $20 for all handguns that are MA compliant (include loaded chamber indicator). Pistols that are NY compliant (includes empty shell casing) are priced the same as the models listed. Early SIG Sauer pistols can be marked either with the Herndon or Tysons Corner, VA barrel address, and can also be marked "W. Germany" or "Germany". Earlier mfg. had three proofmarks on the bottom front of the slide, with a fourth on the frame in front of the serial number.
